You are free to use this tutorial to create dolls, props, etc. for personal or commercial uses as long as you credit and/or link me somewhere please!
I am sick to death. I have been listed as a "thief site" at CGC's Tell All, which claims to be the "Wall of Shame for the Country Graphics Community".
This is what they state on their main page :
Welcome to CGC's Tell All. This group is NOT an advertising forum. It serves two purposes: (1) to share your opinions and experiences with members/sites in the CGC and (2) to make others aware of the theft of graphics in the CGC.
The rules:
Beware- this is not a drama free zone! You are free to post your opinions and experiences with any membership site/artist in the CGC. Just be respectful and don't force your opinions on others!
There is no email rule. If you want to be on web only or daily digest, that is fine. I dont' want my inbox filled up either!!
While you are free to rant and rave if you want about your bad experience, please NO name calling!!
You are free to post links to sites you've had experiences with- good or bad- and I will add them to our links directory. Keep in mind, we are operating on the honor system here. Don't just join to bash someone you don't like. Your experiences have to be truthful. Anyone who is found to be dishonest or bashing will be banned!
You can also add your photographic proof of graphic theft to the photo album.
Apparently, then, the indivisual who has acused me, byt their own rules, must have had "personal experience" of my site, and is thus either a member or customer. If I find out whom the individual who has done so IS they WILL be banned immediately, as per my own TERMS OF USE
And so, I am posting this tutorial to show EXACTLY how I create my dolls, clothes, hair, props, sets, scenes, etc., and if anyone else has any further questions or comments direct them to ME, and not through some anonymous bashing group that CLAIMS they aren't such!
NOTE : I usually use DAZ|Studio because it renders faster for this type of thing and, unless I am doing a very complex scene with tons of lights, props, etc it just isn't worth my time to lose an entire day of work to one image!
NOTE : This doll was completed, from render to the writing of this tutorial, in about 5 hours. NORMALLY when I work on a new doll it takes three to 5 DAYS and MANY more re-traces than the 2 I did for this tutorial!!!
I have over 40 GIGS of DAZ/Poser figures (people, clothes, hair, etc.), props, sets, scenes, MATs, Morphs, ad infinitum. I found a way to turn my defunct Poser membership site into a paying Pixel site and I'm proud of it!
